Members

  • Election : Elected by common, equal, direct and secret election of the eligible citizen
  • Organization : 21 members(18 local constituencies, 3 proportional)
  • Term of office : July 1st, 2018 ~ June 30th, 2022(for 4 years)

Chairperson, Vice-chairperson

  • Organization : 1 chairperson, 1 vice-chairperson
  • Election : elected among members by secret vote
  • Term of office : each 2 years(first half, second half)
  • Chairperson : pivotal role to represent the council and manage the affairs of the council
  • Vice-chairperson : acting as a chairperson at the absence of chairperson

Committees

  • Standing committee

    the council organizes 4 committees such as steering committee, planning & Culture Committee, Urban & Environment Committee, Economy & Welfare Committee; each committee processes the agenda, petition and civil application belonging to the pertinent committee.

  • Special committee

    the council may have special committees to screen special agenda under the resolution of the general meeting.
